For the last 20 years, Gamesa has been working with communities worldwide to build wind farms that are compatible with the surrounding natural environment. All of Gamesa's wind farms are conscientiously and properly sited using data collected from numerous studies that go beyond the requirements of law.
Since 2004, Gamesa has invested $110 million in the commonwealth, growing local economies and creating more than 940 full-time manufacturing jobs across the state, including 264 right here in the Allegheny Mountains of western Pennsylvania. The company built its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Ebensburg, Cambria County, where the turbines that Pennsylvanians assemble are shipped across the country and around the world.
With its commitment to community, Gamesa employs the best practices to protect the environment, and the people and wildlife living within it. Harnessing the wind in an ecologically sustainable way, Gamesa is helping to power Pennsylvania and America with energy that is clean, reliable, renewable and affordable.
